SUPPORT THE VISION

The heart of a volunteer is not measured in size, but by the depth of the commitment to make a difference in the lives of others.

About Us
St. Peters Community Development Corporation was built on a simple but powerful promise: to always put the needs of the community first. For more than three decades, St. Peters has been a source of hope, support, and opportunity for the residents of South Miami-Dade. While we officially incorporated in 2015, our roots in community service run much deeper.
Since incorporation, St. Peters CDC has continued to grow with intention; strengthening partnerships, expanding programs, and working hand in hand with community leaders and organizations to create meaningful change. Everything we do is guided by our commitment to building a stronger, more connected, and more resilient South Miami-Dade.
Through years of dedication and service, St. Peters CDC has helped improve the lives of countless residents. Today, we proudly serve approximately 1,000 community members each year, providing resources, education, and support that empower individuals and families to thrive.
As we look to the future, our vision continues to expand. St. Peters CDC is working toward the development of a new facility addition that will serve as a hub for learning, teaching, and innovation. This space, including a modern computer lab will open doors to education, skill-building, and opportunity, ensuring our community has the tools it needs to succeed today and for generations to come.
Together, we are building more than a facility, we are building a brighter future.

SILVER LINING SENIOR CITIZENS PROGRAM
The Silver Lining Senior Citizens Program is dedicated to enriching the lives of our senior population and honoring the invaluable role they play in our community. Designed with care and purpose, the program offers meaningful activities that support emotional well-being, stimulate cognitive health, and strengthen social connections. Research shows that active engagement helps reduce depression, slow cognitive decline, and foster a greater sense of belonging and the Silver Lining puts those benefits into action every day.
Through thoughtful and engaging programming, the Silver Lining program enhances quality of life and promotes healthier, more fulfilling living for older adults in the West Perrine community. Seniors are encouraged to stay active, connected, and empowered in a welcoming and supportive environment.
The center serves as a vibrant focal point for both seniors and the broader community. By offering health education, social engagement, recreational opportunities, and pathways to economic development, the program enriches the lives of older adults while strengthening the community as a whole. At Silver Lining, aging is celebrated, independence is supported, and every senior is reminded that they matter.
