About Us
St. Peters Community Development Corporation is designed to put the needs of the community first. Though this group has provided for communities of South Miami Dade for over 30 years, the St. Peters CDC wasn’t incorporated until 2015.
Through this incorporation the St. Peters CDC will continue to grow and engage community partners to create a better community for the residents of South Miami-Dade.
The St. Peters Community Development Corporation has worked hard over the years to help improve the lives of residences in our community.
The St. Peters CDC currently provides services to around 1,000 members of the community on a yearly basis.
With hopes to expand and grow our community outreach the St. Peters CDC is working to increase our facilities by building an addition that will serve as a space for learning, teaching and a computer lab.
SILVER LINING SENIOR CITIZENS PROGRAM
The Silver Lining Senior Citizens programfunded by Miami-Dade County is geared towards our senior population. Senior Activities have been proven to reduce depressions, reduce cognitive decline and enhance social connectedness.
This program will enhance the quality of life for seniors and provide for a healthier living through programming for older adults in the West Perrine Community.
The center is designed to be the focal point that not only provides services for older adults but also serves the entire community. Through health education, social interactions, recreational activities and economic development the lives of seniors are enriched.
